Poetry

Poetry is a big part of my life. I enjoy writing a lot. I write in English but also in Spanish. I hope one day to be able to publish a book with my poems, i think that is my biggest dream. I'll be posting some of my poems here and I hope that if any of you out there like writing too please share it with me and I'll publish them here in my blog. Also, any poem published in this blog has an owner and you would be in a violation if you published it or used it in any way as your own.

It's been a few days since I was last here so I thought I'd keep you, my readers updated. I've been doing a lot. I'm working on a poetry book I'm writing with a friend and also a story book I'm writing on my own. And on top of that, school has been crazy this past week. My teachers have given me a lot of projects and test so I have been studying really hard. I'm in High School and you know how it can be sometimes but I keep going, working on my dreams and giving the best of me.

Having the courage to be yourself even if the whole word doesn't approve.

Only the ones that truly believe in what they want and fight for it are truly happy in this life.

People don't always have your back but that doesn't mean you have to turn yours to them.

Everything you do, do it with the satisfaction of doing good to others.

My 2012 Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is here and for some reason it makes me too happy. This morning when I woke up I couldn't even eat breakfast, I was just too anxious. When my best friend saw me he told me that my head was going to explode and confetti was going to come out of it. I asked myself, I am that much happy? I was definitely feeling that way. As my day went on many things happened but not everything was great. Although I was able to buy the perfect gift for that special person I had a little accident. Guess what, my cellphone broke. But I didn't let that ruin my day, I had lots to do.I was supposed to surprise my beloved at his house. When I was about to go I got a call that something had happened at his house. I got really worried and also I was disappointed because I wasn't able to do what I was planning, but I didn't let that ruin my day. I went back home and just relaxed. I can say that even though so many things happened and they didn't turn out as I planned, I had a pretty good day. I feel happy and satisfied and I hope that next year it will be better.

For a loved one (Poem)

I stare at your eyes
watch them shine under the moon light
like two stars in space
so bright
so great
make my heart beat fast
make me feel so alive.

I could scream your name
at the top of my lungs
let the whole world know
you are the one that I love.

Let me enter your heart
show you what I feel
I wish to give you my heart
and keep you near.

Valentine's Day is coming and many people are feeling sad and lonely. Just because you don't have a boyfriend or a girlfriend doesn't mean you have to feel bad. Valentine's Day is not only for boyfriends and girlfriends, it is about friends too. 

Yes, it is great to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. It feels great to have a loved one with who you can share so many great things. But remember, it's not just having one, it's actually feeling something special. Many people think that having a boyfriend or girlfriend is just to tell someone "I love you" and to have someone to give gifts to. Many people confuse physical attraction with true love. 

If you don't have a special person yet, don't worry, you can share this wonderful holiday with your friends. You can do so many things. You could give each other little friendship cards or do a secret friendship valentine. Anything you choose is great as long as you have fun and spend Valentine's Day happy and surrounded by people you love.

Remember, it doesn't matter if you don't have a loved one right now. Be patient, he or she will come soon. Just wait, because the best way to find the right person is by not looking for them.
